Facebook is going to be explore Blockchain for implementing it's use in the platform.
Facebook is a social media giant and has recently had gone under fire due to the privacy issues which came up in the media lately.
An interesting question is if Facebook would implement a Steem like system would they still need to sell data from the customers or show ads? What do you think?
It's for sure that they have to jump on the train now to not get left behind if the social media blockchain experiment succeeds in the future.
Mark Zuckerberg stated that he likes the way blockchain can give the power back to the people and he wants to discover the ways which facebook can make use of this technologie.
Wait I have heard this before!
Personally I think that people like Mark will not implement a system like this to help the people gaining back their privacy and power. I think this is just PR-Nonsense. If he would think that way the company would not behave like it does! I'm really curious to see where this goes in the future! I'll keep you updated on this for sure! :)
