Sunrise at Lanikai beach

Hi everyone! I just came back from my trip to Hawaii, so in the next days I´ll be posting the best pictures of it.

Here´s one of my favorite spots on Oahu: Lanikai. In particular, I took this picture on top of the Pillbox hike. If you have the opportunity to visit the island I really recommend you to wake up early and go to this hike for sunrise, it will be worth it! The hike takes about 15-20 mins and it´s pretty easy, so even if you are not on your best shape you can still do it.

Sunrise is really beautiful, but in the middle of the day the water turns bright blue making it one of the most gorgeous beaches of Hawaii. Actually, Lanikai means "heavenly sea" in Hawaiian.

Some tips:

• If you want to do the hike for sunrise you should get to Lanikai really early to find parking and to have enough time to get to the top before the sun rises.
• It is a very famous beach so there´s normally a lot of people. If you want to chill you can visit it and then move to the beach right next to it (Kailua), which is not as crowded.
