Today I wanted to share some pictures that I surfaced a few days ago and turn them into black and white!
Black and white and snow is one heck of a combination I think!
I was going through my old SD cards for pictures to see if I could post some different things since I haven't been able to get out and do some walking and exercising much, and I stumbled upon some old pictures from a GoPro that I was using many years ago. The pictures were pretty awesome LOL I absolutely love how snowy landscapes look when turned into black and white, mostly because it almost already feels like it's black and white with the snow!
Being on the side of a snowy mountain is by far one of my favorite places to be. It's so peaceful and beautiful! It has so many wonderful characteristics to it, and it just looks incredible. This mountain here is also my favorite because it's got some of the best snow I've ever experienced in my life. It was a win-win on many fronts that's for sure!
This was an awesome trip from way back in the day, where I went snowboarding with some friends that I no longer talk to. We were having a lot of fun and one of the big pieces of that is because the mountain was getting snow while we were on it! That doesn't happen too often and when it does, you're in for a whole lot of fun! Fresh powdery snow is incredible for sure!
I love the look of the completely covered environment as far as the eye can see, which isn't too far in this weather. Seeing the snow-covered trees and also taking it up a notch and flipping it into black and white is pretty darn cool. It adds an element of mystery and drama to it I think. The way the cables that are above us just go off into the distance and disappear, and the cables in the higher cloud area are also showing up for a brief moment and then disappearing again it's pretty wild!
I am looking forward to going snowboarding here again one day, I don't think it will be this year or next year but hopefully after that when my son is old enough to hit these bigger trails with me and not get scared or fall down the whole time. These are going to be some incredible memories!
