I hear you man, a lot of people I work with are giving into the beast in terms of AI. They are using it for more and more instead of trying to come up with things themselves. Granted there are certainly a number of valid things it is used for, such as organizing a disparate bunch of data into a clean organized version which it will do in 30-45 seconds versus 10 or 20 minutes. They are relying on it too much for other things like making sure an email sounds okay. That's not good!
