In our house, my son and I just sit to pee so that we keep the seat down. It also reduces the cleaning that we have to do, since we aren’t getting urine all over the floor! Some may say it’s not manly to do it but I don’t care. Standing to pee is something we do when we are outside the house in public bathrooms but they all smell. I would rather keep our bathroom at home clean and smell free! Plus I’m the one that cleans it lol so why be forced to clean it and just change my behavior as well?
