It's a really interesting and scary thought to think about the world in 30 years. There are going to be a lot of great things about it. Will SkyNet be a reality, though? That's where many of us grapple with the "future". We know thus far, powers that shouldn't be have LOVED causing sheer chaos, destruction and war for the fun of it and for financial gain. It makes it REALLY difficult for me to believe that they are going to give that up for anything except more control than they already have.

I really try not to be doom and gloom about it but some days it proves challenging lol

I actually had a conversation with one of my high up leaders the other day about the versatility. I am being considered for another promotion which I appreciate wholeheartedly, but I told him that I am a little reserved about it all because I want to make sure that I am diversified enough to NOT be on the chopping block when push comes to shove lol. In reality, I can think of a few others that would be so I think I will go for it.. but I think it's important to just voice some hesitancy and not be guns blazing into the unknown making it seem like all will be hunky dory.
