Fantastic thoughts here and I agree that there’s been so many crazy things in history and that’s just the well known stuff. There’s the swept under the carpet stuff like the Tuskegee experiments and how that’s gone, and it was sadly an open conspiracy in the halls of the medical leaders at the time.

I vaguely remember the 5th of November thing but didn’t realize it was for that, that’s cool thanks!

What I think so many people don’t understand, or refuse to understand, is that history is such a good guidebook for us to figure out the illusions of grandeur that affect the would-be rulers of the world. Every few decades they try something heinous and ridiculous to try to wrestle control that much tighter.
