It's definitely crazy with the rising cost of food and everything that places like supermarkets have become too expensive for many. One of the most unfortunate things about this is that it was bound to happen. One of the things that has badly skewed the market over the past few decades has been subsidizing some of the staples in the food industry. Corn is one of the most clear examples. Corn is heavily subsidized in countries around the world, meaning farmers can produce thousands of pounds of it and the government pays them to do it. If the government wasn't paying people to do that then the real price would be paid for corn and other food staples. I think we are going to start seeing the real cost of food come into play, not the subsidized cost and that's going to hurt a lot of people and businesses around the world.
The advantage to this though, is there are always going to be innovators and entrepreneurs! People are resourceful and will find ways to do these things in different ways which I think is the great thing about the technology and innovation that we have today. There is a lot of opportunity!
