It’s interesting what the presidents choose for their words in their addresses like that. There’s certainly writers who try to psychologically manipulate people and I doubt they change much between years. Seems very scripted to me, which is annoying but at the same time I get it. You don’t want to free wheel something as symbolic as the inaugural address.
Only time will tell if this presidency will be a good one for us overall or a bad one. Are we manipulated into believing heaps of propaganda for one side or the other, or have we grown up to see through the BS propaganda? I hope the latter for sure!
I don’t love trump but I’m giving him a chance. One thing I really appreciate on the surface right now is pausing ALL foreign aid and focusing on the destroyed neighborhoods in California, North Carolina and Florida. I don’t remember if I saw Hawaii in there as well but we have to take care of our own first and foremost. Let’s hope it works out well!
