It is an interesting perspective to take for sure and I think a lot of it has to do with how much the food is infested with chemicals. Meat free is a very broad spectrum. Is one eating gutter quality meat like fast food? Or meat from atrocious factory farms? Or locally raised grass or pasture raised cows, pigs, chickens and others? I would think that there is a considerable difference between those groups in the availability of toxins in the blood of the kids. I don’t disagree that having a good amount of vegetables in a diet is a good thing but I know that excessive starches are not a good recipe for ailment-free health.
I do appreciate the perspective, it’s always interesting for me to read these.
