Setting goals is something that I'm not a huge fan of but I do recognize it can have a big contribution to holding people accountable and tracking progress. But in my case it's more of a nagging thought in my mind that I haven't completed a certain task I set out to do than anything else, even if it's a long term goal and those can't be achieved over night. It can get even more irritating if I go over the time limit for said goal.
That's what happened with my Leo stake target I set about a year and a half ago ( geez does time fly ! ) and which I was supposed to reach by the end of December. But being the lazy pleb that I am, of course December came and went, so did January, and it took until almost May before finally reaching my 2000 Leo goal - wooohoooo ( trumpets and fireworks ). It has definitely been a journey of patience and also determination to get it done so I can finally celebrate and get rid of the annoying thought that I have a goal not yet completed. That feeling of something left unfinished proved kind of motivating in the end although I'm still very happy it's gone now.
I had to sell some HE tokens to get those last few Leo tokens but it was totally worth it to in order to enjoy this moment. I don't think I'll set any more goals for this year so I won't have something nagging me for the next God knows how many months but I'll keep stacking those Leo in preparation of some awesome price action in the future. I have no idea when that future might be but those bags must be filled in order to fully take advantage of such opportunities.
