Quick update on the Stormers at the end of Season 22:
The Storm Peak FC management team was very pleased with the performance of the squad this past season, culminating in a 3rd place finish in Tier 3 league 652. The young Stormer team finished with 66 points and a +34 goal differential leaving us 5 points out of first place and the promotion to league 2 was awarded to Goldberg Polyhedron (congratulations men, hopefully we will be joint you next year!)
Financially, this season was not one to write home about but that was to be expected given that the management team invested heavily in upgrading the stadium facilities along with 187,000 RBN in new player acquisition leaving the club with a 142,860 RBN shortfall at the end of the season. Given this cash churn and the extremely high aspirations of Storm Peak FC, the owner agreed to invest an additional 800,000 RBN for the upcoming season.
On an individual player level, Storm Peak FC would like to honor Maciek Malinowski as our team MVP for the season! The 17 year old Polish goalkeeper was a rockstar between the posts allowing just 17 goals in 30 league games. Congratulations Maciek and we look forward to more stellar goalkeeping in season 23!
