YouTube has been declining in quality since Google bought them out, and is becoming increasingly stale with bland, generic, inoffensive content.

Maybe they say it's shit so that people will get outraged, therefore driving more traffic to their sites to tell them off. They see internet traffic as a good thing, regardless if it's good or bad.

This video pretty much sums up YouTube. Abusive copyright claims, general hypocrisy from YouTube playing favorites to people like Jake Paul, and how it has regressed back into a Draconian power class system

I think it could work with Steem, seeing as how Steem translates to around roughly $5 to $7 dollars. It'd be like using a five dollar bill lol
