The more I am exploring Kyrat, the more I am getting involved in its fights, the more curious I become about what lies ahead. With new
missions, unexpected situations, and danger waiting around every corner, this game keeps giving me reasons to continue the fight. There is always something happening, something new.
There are a few interesting moments in today's gameplay that I really enjoyed.
While I was driving, a group of Royal Army soldiers suddenly started chasing me. At first, I tried to ignore them, but they wouldn't stop following me. 😅
So, I finally started shooting at them while driving and killed them one by one. Shooting enemies while driving was actually pretty fun.
Today, I also used the gliding vehicle again and traveled a long distance with it. Honestly, gliding with this thing feels really good.
This time, I covered almost 1 KM in a very short time. Flying over Kyrat like this also gives a really nice view of the whole area.
The last interesting moment was inside the temple. There was a ritual where a goat was sacrificed, and they were also saying their prayers and doing their religious rituals.
Everything looked very real, from the goat sacrifice to the way they were doing the prayers. It was quite an interesting scene, and it also made the culture of Kyrat feel more real.
After liberating the new Bell Tower, a new area gets unlocked. From that area, I get a new mission. A small farm is being attacked by the Royal Army. They are looting the farm and keeping all the people as hostages.
If I save them, I will get 22,500 Rupees as a reward. So, I thought this is a very good deal. 😎
When I reach the farm, I don't start fighting directly. First, I look around the whole area properly. I use my camera to mark all the soldiers so I can understand where they are and make a proper plan.
There is one important thing in this mission. I have to stay silent because if the army finds out about me, they will kill the hostages. So, I have to kill the soldiers one by one without making too much noise.
As planned, I silently kill the first soldier very easily. But then I make a small mistake with the second soldier. He sees me and alerts the other soldiers. I manage to kill him, but I did not notice another soldier standing above.
And because of that, the soldier above kills the hostages. So, my first attempt ends with a Mission Failed 😑
But in the second attempt, I don't make the same mistake. This time, I check the whole area again and make sure I know where every soldier is. Then I start my attack.
This time everything goes according to my plan. I silently kill the four soldiers one by one and successfully save all the hostages.
After completing the mission, I get my 22,500 Rupees reward. But that's not all. I also search the whole farm and find some extra Rupees and many useful things that I can sell.
After completing the mission, I go to meet Sabal again. Earlier, I helped him a lot by saving one of the Golden Path camps from the Hunters' attack. So, I was sure that Sabal must have another mission for me.
When I reach him, he congratulates me and tells me what the Golden Path really wants and what their main goal is. After that, he sends me to a religious place called Chal Jama Monastery.
The place looks like a temple, and inside there are many statues of gods and goddesses. I talk to a Priest there, and he tells me that I have to complete four Karma tasks to purify my soul.
The four tasks are Light the Candle, Release Fragrance, Burn the Sin, and Rotate Your Life.
All of these tasks have a religious meaning behind them. But honestly, I did not really care much about the meaning at that time. 😅 My main focus was just to complete the Karma tasks, so I started doing them one by one.
This episode was another enjoyable step deeper into Kyrat. The car chase, long glide, and hostage rescue mission all made the gameplay feel exciting. Overall, the exploration, action, and new missions kept me interested throughout the episode. My Personal rating is 7.5/10
