Che cosa accomuna Torino a New York?
L'illustrazione.

What have in common Turin and New York?
Illustration.
The New Yorker is one of the most famous magazines in the world, known in particular for its illustrated covers, not only for the iconic cartoons.
Among the artist that contributed to the covers, we can name Malika Favre, Daniel Clowes, Baryl Blitt, Christop Niemann and many others. Covers are so important and particular that often become pieces of art, sold in limited editions.
This fame developed other projects in different cities, such as The Parisianer and The Tokyoiter. Turin is a city full of talented artists and, thanks to Matteo Riva's initiative, also Turin has its magazine.

The Turineser is a project host by IED students, and wants to show not only the most famous characters, but also the peculiarities of Piedmont's capital. We can find Cavour and pigeons, Gianduja (a Carnival mask) and the Egyptian Museum, young students and Turin's most obscure secrets.
Also the typography is local, it's been invented by the agency AlfaType.
An aristocratic and historic magazine is the best way to represent such a beautiful and elegant city.
