This is a rainy day on Lake Logan as me and Rain wait it out to get back on the trail.
After the rain past we got a few miles in and heading to Hocking Hills State Park.... to many State Parks here. However there are also plenty of private owned campgrounds to stay at in between.
The marsh and lilly plants are so very much different here than I have ever seen before. The plants and trees seem to be getting larger the more we go west.
These are the massive sandstone rocks that have been eroding for thousands of years forming caves and cliffs were a sea once covered during the Mississippian period.
I get the feeling that this part of our hike through Ohio will be the highlight of this state. With lots of farmland and corn fields there is not much to see here in the mild state of Ohio.
Until next time....STEEM ON!!
