Batman is a character created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger, which is owned by the distribution company of Comics DC (Detective Comics). It is characterized by being a very cold person (in what refers to the decision making), calculating and with a rather dark past. He belongs to the Justice League, being one of the most important and feared by his enemies. Although behind his famous suit (which causes fear and panic to his rivals) hides Bruce Wayne, a man who despite having a great fortune, has a good heart and has good intentions, worrying for other people, their well-being and health.
One of the characteristics of DC is that its characters seem to be gods walking among humans, so much so that the same people who live in their comics refer to them as such, and Batman really is not exactly a "God" far from it, it is a simple mortal who uses his intelligence (before his fists) to be able to measure himself against any person, enemy or extraterrestrial. Perhaps what empathy he generates most to his fans is that you really observe what he wants to convey (security in himself and in what he does), and what are his objectives: to end corruption, to achieve the freedom of people, free thought, etc, to prevent people from going through what he went through (the death of his father, among the most prominent).
Today I bring you 10 Things you did not know about Batman.
1 - According to its creators, Batman is a mix of characteristics of three characters, which are: The Zorro, Dracula and The Shadow.
2 - Batman flatly refuses to use firearms or kill his enemies, although in his early days, in comics, he used firearms on his missions and also killed people (perhaps that we see in the last movie of Batman vs Superman is a nod to this, since we can watch Batman kill and use firearms, which caused quite a bit of controversy in their moment). All this changed because the public that consumed their products were mostly children and that is where their principle of ¨kill no one¨. In addition, the trauma left him by the death of his parents made him refuse to use weapons or kill people, and for that reason is that whenever he catches the Joker, he imprisons but does not kill him.3 -There is a comic where it is Bruce Wayne who dies, while his father Thomas Wayne would become Batman but with characteristics different from those of his son , since it has unorthodox qualities, being more cruel. While his mother, on the other hand, becomes the Joker.

4 - As I had already mentioned, Batman is one of the most important pillars of the Justice League, so much so that he managed to defeat all its members. In the same way, he also defeated Darkseid (two times), an extraterrestrial of great powers. Some say he is the strongest villain in the world of DC.
5 - The Lamborghini driving Bruce Wayne in the Nolan movie saga is the bat model.

6 -A fan of the character named Andy Warhol directed the first Batman movie and named it Batman Dracula ¨. It was not officially released because it did not have a DC license.
7 - During a crossover between characters from DC and Marvel, there was a combination of Wolverine and Batman, which was called Dark Claw. Similarly, Bruce was also an agent S.H.I.E.L.D..
8 - His fortune is approximately 80 billion dollars, and his company (Wayne Enterprises) is one of the largest in the world of comics. These things position Batman among the 3 richest superheroes.
9 - Also in a crossover, the Dr. Doom infiltrates the Batcave to find the hiding place of Batman and Robin. His intention is to kill the two heroes, although his plan fails and it is he who ends up dead.

10 - Batman has multiple versions of many different universes, although it has not always been Bruce who has worn the mantle of the Black Knight (we already saw an advance where he told them that his father was Batman in another universe), and although each head is a world, all have maintained the same essence. Here I will mention some of them:
- Thomas Wayne (father of Bruce)
- Batwoman, who is Helena Wayne, daughter of Batman and Catwoman. She becomes Batwoman after her father's death.
- Batman Vampire who is Bruce after being bitten by a vampire.
- Batman Beyond, named Terry McGinnis, who is sponsored by a Bruce Wayne rather old man.
- The Sons of Batman: Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Damian Wayne and Tim Drake.
Among others.
Over the years, Batman has changed suit, weapons, enemies, but continues to hold its own principles and values. More than a superhero has become a symbol, a person who does not seek fame or money, or be recognized by other people, but rather order. Despite wearing black robes, he brings light to all the places he goes, even the darkest ones. I'll leave you here a part of the movie The Dark Knight where Commissioner Gordon gives a brief description of what he means Batman.
