I heard the word ''Eureka'' many times in Russia. Especially in the old soviet movies.
But I didn't really understand what it is. They usually say it when excited about something.
I didn't use it in my lexicon as well. Now I have the opportunity to even write about it.
I like to read definitions of the same word. So, in this post, I'll give each definition an example from my life.
The first one I found is when I write ''Eureka meaning'' in google :
a cry of joy or satisfaction when one finds or discovers something.
I had such cry in my life. If you want to know more, you can check ''A part of my life'', I wrote three months ago.
Briefly, I was taken by my father to his native country when I was a kid. He promised me of a great life there, and I've got hell instead. So, twelve years I was dreaming to come back to Russia and to see my grandfather I loved so much. I finally did it and when I entered the apartment, I hugged my uncle and grandmother. And when I asked about my grandfather, they looked at me and told me that he's dead. I had eureka because I finally make it to Russia, and I was the happiest person on the planet. But that ''Eureka'' turned to a something else. Full happiness with full sadness. That's the only time in my life when I experienced the full emptiness inside. It's like feeling the time stopped and the existence finished. But I had to pass through that. To keep living and accepting all the goods I had. I just wished for my grandfather to die in peace and I hoped his soul is satisfied and if the other world exist, I wish him being in heaven.
The other great definition I've found is the following :
Someone might say 'eureka' when they suddenly find or realize something, or when they solve a problem.
After that, I had to stay in Russia. Because I didn't want to come back to the country where even relatives didn't accept me. I wanted to stay in a more civilized country. To learn more about people here, to have more mental freedom. I couldn't work because they didn't want to give me a work visa because I didn't find anyone to take me to work without the citizenship. So, the only way I had is to study here. In my 25 years old to study with young 18 years old people. That was called a student visa that could be prolonged every year. And that's what I did for 6 years to stay here. From 2010 to 2016.
Another cool definition I've found for the word ''Eureka'' is the following :
used to express triumph on a discovery.
So during all those 6 years I had to find a girlfriend to build with her relationships. To get married and to stay here in Russia. The marriage help a lot to get the citizenship. I met so many girls here. I learned about what they like and what they don't like. I did my best to find the right one for me. I even dated a few for months. But I didn't find what I was looking for. I almost gave up on that. And when I stopped looking at all. I stopped caring about that. I just had a love story. A great treasure was given to me. That was a triumph discovered by me by chance. That's another ''Eureka'' happened to me, and you can read the story and the continuation here ''The Biggest Jackpot of My Life ! [part 1]'' and here ''The Biggest Jackpot of My Life ! [part 2].'' I got married in 2016, and we are still together for almost 5 years, and we have a little boy.
And the last definition I liked is this one :
used to show that you have been successful in something you were trying to do.
This is related to how I joined the proof of brain tribe. Before that, I wasn't thinking a lot about powering up. I didn't understand the value of the proof of stake. I thought it's all about money. I thought that the proof of brain is better. But when I start noticing the proof of stake playing a big role in building communities. In organizing tribes. In giving people the reason to power up. I decided to give it a chance. I decided to power up all my earnings, what I'm doing now for more than three months. It was like a twist in my mind. I realized that powering up make us grow. Not only to build our influence, but also to build our financial stability. To teach us about how to deal with what we earn. Not just spending everything, but always investing. Diversifying. This is the ''Eureka'' happening to me now. Take a look at my account, and you see the demonstration of success.
You may check how I asked everyone : Give me a reason to power up and after a while : This is why to power up.
So, the word ''Eureka'' is really amazing. That happened to us when we open our eyes and minds. I guess I could say that many are experiencing this now. Especially with the pandemic time and what governments are doing in so many countries !
