You touch on a couple subjects that I am very interested in. First is the mask or the lie(s) we tell ourselves to salve our soul. Yes, we tell the those lies to save face with the world, but we do it more for ourselves. We have these ideas of how and who we should be. What success and failure should look like. What the outcomes of a happy and healthy relationship are supposed to be. But instead of actually experiencing the our lives, we project an image of it. For most of us, we never experience happiness or success because we never take the time to understand or believe what those things really are due to the constructs of the lies we have projected.

Another think you touch on is how people treat other people. Especially those who appear to be in an inferior social state. The level of respect we give people when we have nothing to gain is truly a window into who we really are. Yes, some times, we are just having a shitty day and things just don't come out as they should, but to be a dick to people just because you can. I am not saying that this is some great litmus test of people, but it is a great building block for understanding who we should be associating with.
