There are so many butterfly effect thing in the raising of a child that piling blame on parents for failure or deviancy or in fact giving them praise for a child’s successes is just not warranted. Most parents are people just trying to figure out how to be parents. The world changes so fast, previous methods, right, wrong or otherwise, are just not relevant to the pressures of the modern world.
Children, even young adults, are so fragile. Heck, adults are so fragile. This is a world of constant rejection and harassment that has only escalated over the years. We can be bullied from people and places that we have never heard of or seen. How can we blame the parents for a world that they can’t control? Like I said earlier, most are just trying to figure out how to be parents.
