I gave up i have to admit on steemit at a reputation of 42 but since rediscovering hive over the last 5 weeks and discovering threespeak to share my main passion music, my reputation went to 59 so yes it helps if you can share quality by focusing just on the niches that you genuinely love and can add value too and keep genuine when supporting others and voting other content :)
