Ah, a Loko is a strong alcoholic drink. 13.9 percent or something crazy. Thanks for reading.

RE: Carry Me
The rhyme is well done here. It's unnoticeable, in the background, not forced in anyway that would draw attention. I also find the near rhyme in the last stanza meaningful in that it mirrors the dissipated

Hey thanks for reading. Good to know the family secrets theme was clear. I wasn't sure if that really came across.

Haha. There could be more of this, but I think that's all I wanted to say for now.

That jester is on a roll. I like the cyclic ending here, especially poignant that the princess isn't there the second time. Also tree-like skin: I might steal that description someday.

Good one! I love the premise and the way you succinctly lay it out in the first paragraph. It builds nicely from there and kept me engaged. Have to admit the hazmat suits suggested the ending a bit sooner

I visited my favorite standing dead tree on the Hoquiam River yesterday evening. The tree is slowly tilting into the river; I've been photographing it over a few years now. It's looking a bit precarious

Yes, I know I can find many more good shots there, and get lots of practice.

RE: Discovering a wild spot
Yeah, it's nice. It's also a challenge, since I'm used to taking photos of the bay, where the far shore is far in the background. There's a lot of clutter in the scenes here; good place to learn to thing

I really liked this story of how you eventually found the place that was right for you. An example of perseverance we can all learn from, even as adults. Thanks for sharing!
