Although his given name is Frank Carlton Serafino Feranna, Jr, he is widely known as Nikki Sixx, former member of the super band Mötley Crüe,
To warm up and give this rock star the importance it deserves, let's go back to December 11, 1958 when he was born, years later he would change his name to NIKKY SIXX, since he rejected the name he had inherited from his Italian father.
He had a difficult childhood with his mother Deana Haight and his abusive stepfather of which little is recorded! his father abandoned them when he was barely 6 years old, which would resoundingly mark NIKKI's life,
While she was growing up she did not have a stability, since they constantly moved and this due to the different boyfriends that her mother often had, and she usually sent Nikki to her grandparents every time she changed boyfriend!
Nikki was cultivating a strong resentment towards her mother, to the point that when she returned to establish a relationship, he rejected her outright, then she would claim that it was all a plot which her family fostered to influence Nikki's decision.
In 1980 this intrepid and tireless boy had a project which consisted of creating the band, the greatest theatrical band of the decade, in a short time he found on the way the ideal companions with whom he would materialize this feat, joining the guitarist Mick, drummer Tommy Lee and vocalist Vince they formed what would be the mega band called [Motley Crue] (https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%B6tley_Cr%C3%BCe)
And although it was founded in Los Angeles in an area called the sunset strip, few or no record companies supported the band in its early days, due to the peculiarity that the band had in its early days to make mistakes on stage, which later I would inspire to capture a success such as too fast for lover.
a short time later they would release another album titled Shout At The Devil, which would catapult them to fame throughout the national territory.
Sixx and his trio of crazy friends did not waste time to unleash the excesses allowed at that time in rock n 'roll, years later he would declare that he used his body as a laboratory mouse, to abuse chemicals and test The excesses and intoxications to his own flesh, which on February 14, 1987 would cause him a misfortune, and that is that while the band was performing in London at the house of a drug dealer, an overdose caused his heart to stop pumping blood and Although repeatedly the drug dealer tried to stop the seizures and revive him with a baseball bat, he stopped his efforts and threw him into a trash can!
but to the bad weather, good face, since this insident would later inspire a famous verse which is "Valentine's in London, found me in the trash" from the acclaimed piece of music called Dancing on Glass, it didn't take long and on 23 December of that same year Sixx suffers another overdose, this time at the house of his colleague Slash, the famous and acclaimed guitarist and his beautiful girlfriend called an ambulance, and he was declared without vital signs on the way to the hospital and remained in that state for some five minutes before being revived by two powerful injections of adrenaline in the heart administered by the medical personnel where he was admitted. This incident led Sixx to write the song Kickstart my Heart.
After these strong incidents, I have been induced by his manager Sixx and his colleagues went into rehabilitation, achieving excellent results in 1989 when they gave birth to their album named Dr. Feelgood,
It was not until 2004 when Sixx declared himself completely sobri and currently enjoys great recognition and a certain air of Legenda not only in the musical field but also in what the great NIKKI SIXX has set out to do to date. Although great critics of the music refute the enormous excesses which they had while Mötley Crüe was on stage!
