The lilies

My daughter, @addijayne0911, planted these flowers last spring, then left for her college work study program before she got to see them bloom. The rest of our family appreciated them. This year, they bloomed again. They're the most beautiful orange. I took pictures so I can show my daughter, as she is still away at school.
Today when my husband and I were driving up to the house after church, I was looking forward to seeing the lilies. They always make me think of my daughter. But to my dismay, I could not see their vibrant orange in the flower bed. Something ate them! I am very sad I cannot see them in the garden, but very happy I have the photo.
