Reading: Jeremiah 6:16
Please change your mind to the form of a child so that you can understand the Word that God has for you today.
Sometimes a lot of words are not enough to convey a message, just as it is not necessary to spend a lot of time to say something to someone. Sometimes two simple words can have more meaning than hours of meaningless sermons.
I am writing the verse of today's reading because it is really worth reading it:
"Thus says the Lord:" Stand on the roads and look, and ask for the ancient paths, What is the good way, and walk through it; And you will find rest for your souls. But they said: 'We will not walk in it.' "

I have seen many things in the churches that call themselves Christians that make me sad and that make many hearts doubt. I think I have not been the only one, probably you have also witnessed this reality: It is received with the doors open to the one who comes in a van model but looks sideways to the one who comes badly dressed in an old and disrupted car (a foot); they do not notice in prayers and blessings those who are well dressed but those who are badly dressed are relegated to the last row and prayed for not leaving or appearances (if they do); the tithes are counted and the leader is considered the leader who gives more to the church than to the one who has little money but has put all his effort for his growth; there are events that group many people and say "Glory to God" but over time people who attended these events are forgotten and tend to withdraw from the path of God; appearances matter more than truth; the leaders judge with severity the young people who act jokingly in the church (I do not say it's okay) and with those same lips they lie and hide the truth of God just to maintain a privileged position and worse still if the church he has supplied them with a job; people do not matter, the needs of the other do not matter, we are always praying "I want, I need, I wait" and we forget that Jesus taught us to pray like this: "Father OURS ..."; We do not call people, we do not care about them or their needs or anxieties and we believe that we are very saintly because we develop "evangelistic" projects that we actually do to know what we are doing (I'm not saying it's wrong to project ourselves, I say that almost always we give more importance to our desires than to the needs of the other); When someone makes a mistake, the leaders have a hand to raise it and say "Cheer up, go ahead", but with the other they have the murmuring knife ready to bury it; The meetings that are held seem more like a circle of cheap politicking or a popularity contest than a community of people where God is; The truth is that many say that God is with them but in truth he is not because they do not live according to his Word.
I do not speak of all the churches, because I know that there are churches where God is present; but I do speak to the hearts of all sincere Christians who have turned aside the path and who have left their first love. I speak to all those who, when reading these words, feel the same indignation that I do and that they do not say in their hearts, "I do not do any of that", but they recognize that they have also been wrong and that they have forgotten the main thing: Mercy, the truth and justice. I give thanks to God for all the churches and hearts that are healthy before God and I pray that this healing will remain and that the fire of the Holy Spirit will never be extinguished in them (as); but to those who recognize that they are sick and to whom the Holy Spirit has spoken to their hearts I say the following:
GOD WANTS US TO RETURN TO THE ANCIENT ROAD; THIS IS MERCY.
Let's put aside so much cheap politics in the churches and so many resentments and struggles for power and start focusing on what Jesus taught us: Love for the other.
It is time to recognize that we have moved away from the path of mercy and we have sold it for a world of religiosity and lying that is not far from the world we both talk about and judge so much in sermons and daily talks (If allow, I think it's worse).
I know it is time to go back to God, to remember what mercy means, to inquire into the Word, to seek the presence of God and to put aside our ego and begin to live a life of mercy and true love.
GOD BLESS YOU
"Blessed is the man who did not walk in the counsel of the wicked,
He was not in the way of sinners,
Nor has he sat in the seat of scoffers;
But in the law of the Lord is his delight,
And in his law he meditates day and night.
It will be like a tree planted by streams of water,
That bears fruit in its time,
And his leaf does not fall;
And whatever he does shall prosper"
Psalm 1: 1-3
