God created us all with a purpose, and every day that passes we have the opportunity to do something new in God and for God. But unfortunately we do not take advantage of the time and opportunities that it gives us. What would happen if God today called us to settle accounts? What have we done with the gifts and talents that you have deposited in us? There are too many things that God has given us, there are many questions that come from Him, but unfortunately few answers.
While it is true and for no one it is a secret that we are in the end times, the people groan for the coming of the Lord, and many events are happening in the world, which only tells us that the Lord is already at the door, But is his people prepared to receive him?
¨ And the world passes, and its desires; but he who does the will of God abides forever. My children, it is the last time; and as you have heard, the antichrist is coming. "1 John 2: 17-18 (NKJV).
The bible from the first word to the last, tells us how we have to act, what we should do and what not, we find steps to know their will and discover its purpose. Now it is up to us to live according to his scriptures to be approved workers before the King.
Personally, I do not want to leave this earth without God having fulfilled his purpose in me, even if it is the last and the only thing I do in this life, because I know that it will be the most important and impressive thing that I will have achieved. Because it is not easy to walk in righteousness and it is difficult for us to fulfill those purposes, but for that He has chosen us and prepares us for it.
In these days I deeply understood this, because I had death close by, but it could not reach me, because the Lord goes before us as a mighty giant, keeping our steps. I had a car accident and only the hand of God could get me unharmed. But more than the fright of the moment, I understood that God created me for something, and now more than ever I am ready for that plan to be fulfilled.
Something great God wants to do in us, let's not waste time in distractions, this week I read a phrase: "Do not play at being a Christian, because the devil does not play at being devil". Those of us who know God have the tools to reach the goal, but what about those who do not know him? And that is where our purpose begins, to bring souls to the feet of Christ. We all dream of doing great things for the Lord, big ministries, campaigns etc. But God is not going to give you all that if we do not start with the closest people, we think about conquering nations, but we do not conquer our family, our city and our own nation.
The key is to always be addressed by the Holy Spirit, he will know where to take us, he will tell us what to say and of course what to do. ¨ And in the same way the Spirit helps us in our weakness; For what we have to ask for as we should, we do not know, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with unspeakable groans. Romans 8:26 (NKJ 1960).
The plan is ready, you just miss it!
