Reading an old magazine, he found a story that could well serve to teach. This is a university student and one of his teachers who agreed to take a field trip. When they arrived near a tree, they noticed that there someone had left their shoes and an old coat. The student proposed to hide them with the purpose of making a joke to his owner, who could not be other than that man who busily worked the land, close to both.
The teacher did not share the idea of the student, and said, "It's not good what you want to do, you're a rich young man, why do not you put a gold coin in each shoe, and watch his reaction? After a while the worker crossed the field to where his clothes were. When he placed one of the shoes he noticed that something strange was inside him. What a surprise it was when he found that it was a gold coin, surprised looked everywhere with the idea of knowing who was the person who had left there. When putting on the other shoe, it was the same, there was another gold coin inside the shoe. Immediately, the poor man knelt crying and with his arms to heaven said: "Thank you Lord because you are good, I knew that my poverty was in your memory, and that I only had to believe that you would help me in the moment of your will . Now, I can go home to feed my children and my wife before they die of hunger. " The teacher and the student, could not avoid shuddering at such a picture. Flash, excited share of the Bible, the Word of God, the following:
In everything I have taught you that, working thus, you should help the needy, and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, who said: It is more blessed to give than to receive. Acts 20:35.
Two Gold Coins
Where was the beatitude in history ?, in giving. No doubt that society would be much more prosperous and happy, if each person were willing to give to the needy. We must remember that the Word of the Lord, states that the first intention of the person to have a paid job, is to help those in need. And in truth we must recognize that it is almost not fulfilled. Being poor is not cause for laughter, nor is it sin, but if there is a willingness to brighten one's day, bliss will be achieved. The people of God the Creator are called to imitate Jesus, and He never rejected the poor, welcomed them all, either by feeding them, or by healing their illnesses or ailments, along with sharing with them the good wishes of the Father. As a wake-up call, Christ Jesus said that the poor would always be among men, so there would be an opportunity, for the children and for the daughters of God the Creator, to lessen their shortcomings. Do you want to receive more blessing ?, then give.
