မနက္ကေပးထားတဲ့ ဝါက် ၆ေၾကာင္းကို အဂၤလိပ္လိုေရးေပးထားတာ အေျဖတိုက္ၾကည့္ၾကစို႔။

1. ရာသီဥတုမေကာင္းလို႔ ေဘာလံုးပြဲကို တစ္ဝက္မွာ ရပ္လိုက္ရတယ္။
   📍The football match was abandoned at half-time because of the poor weather conditions.

ၿပိဳင္ပြဲကိုရပ္လိုက္ရတယ္ကို passive voice သံုးၿပီး တျခား Verbs ေတြကိုသံုးလို႔ရတယ္။
The match was stopped....
The match was halted....
The match was called off...( call off ကေတာ့ cancel လုပ္လိုက္တာ)
ေနာက္တစ္မ်ိဳး မွတ္လို႔ရေအာင္ The football match was abandoned ....လို႔သံုးျပထားတယ္။
ရာသီဥတုအေျခအေနဆိုးလို႔.... because of bad weather သို႔မဟုတ္ because of the poor weather conditions အတူတူပါပဲ။
မိုးရြာလို႔ ပြဲပ်က္သြားတယ္ဆိုရင္ေတာ့ rain off ကို passive voice ပံုစံနဲ႔သံုးပါ။
The match was rained off.
The concert was rained off. စသည္ျဖင့္။

1. ကၽြန္ေတာ္လိုအပ္တာက ျမန္မာအစားအစာခ်က္နည္း အေျခခံ ပါတဲ့ စာအုပ္တစ္အုပ္ပါ။
   📍What I need is a book that contains the ABC of Myanmar cuisine.

ဒီဝါက်မွာ ဘာသာရပ္တစ္ခု ပညာတစ္ခုရဲ႕ အေျခခံ basics ကို the ABC of something ဆိုတဲ့ idiom သံုးျပထားတယ္။
cuisine ကို (ကြီဇင္းန္) ဟုအသံထြက္ပါ။
Myanmar cuisine/cooking/food recipes စသည္ျဖင့္ေျပာင္းသံုးလို႔ရပါတယ္။

1. ဒီစာအုပ္ဟာ Obama ရဲ႕ ဘဝျဖစ္စဥ္ကို ကႀကီးမွ အအထိေျပာျပထားတယ္။

   အစမွအဆံုး၊ အားလံုး ဘာမွ်မက်န္၊ ကႀကီးမွ အအထိ...from A to Z ဆိုတဲ့ usage ကိုမွတ္ပါ။

2. ဝန္ႀကီးခ်ဳပ္ကို သူ႔ရဲ႕ကားထဲမွ အၾကမ္းဖက္သမားေတြက ျပန္ေပးဆြဲသြားခဲ့တယ္။
   📍The Prime Minister was abducted from his car by terrorists.

ျပန္ေပးဆြဲသည္ kidnap ကိုသိၾကမွာပါ။ formal English မွာ သံုးတဲ့ abduct ကိုထပ္မွတ္သင့္တယ္။

1. သူတို႔ဟာ ခၽြတ္ျခံဳက်ေအာင္ဆင္းရဲပါတယ္။
   📍They live in abject poverty.

ဒီဝါက်ကေတာ့ ပံုစံအမ်ိဳးမ်ိဳးေရးႏိုင္ပါတယ္။
They are terribly poor.
They are dirt-poor. ဒါမ်ိဳးေတြေရးလို႔လည္းရတာေပါ့။
ဒါေပမဲ့ abject poverty ခၽြတ္ျခံဳက်ေအာင္ဆင္းရဲျခင္း...ဆိုတဲ့ formal အသံုးေလး သိေစခ်င္လို႔ to live in abject poverty ကို အတြဲလိုက္မွတ္ထားပါ။
ရရ စားစား၊ လက္လႈပ္မွ ပါးစပ္လႈပ္ရတာကိုေတာ့ to live from hand to mouth ဆိုတာေလးထပ္မွတ္ပါ။

He lives from hand to mouth.
He lives a hand-to-mouth existence.

1. ဒီအလုပ္ကို သူႏိုင္ႏိုင္နင္းနင္းလုပ္ႏိုင္ပါ့မလား။
   📍Will he be able to cope with this work?

ခက္ခဲတဲ့အလုပ္၊ challenging ျဖစ္တာကို ပိုင္ပိုင္ႏိုင္ႏိုင္ ႏိုင္ႏိုင္နင္းနင္းကိုင္တြယ္တာကို to cope with something လို႔အတြဲလိုက္မွတ္ပါ။ နမူနာဝါက်တစ္ေၾကာင္းထပ္ၾကည့္ပါ။
