I finally got a day off of work today and I have been trying to figure out ways to reach people outside of our community and to start expanding our user base. I have been way more active on Twitter and doing my best to promote HIVE using the crypto and cryptocurrency hashtags, but I think long form content has always been my strong point. Today I decided to branch out and publish my first Medium article.
While I'm not the type to ask for self promotion at all, I will ask you guys to help me get this noticed on Medium as I really want to help us bring more users into the HIVE community. I don't even know what to ask you to do is the sad part though, I guess "clap" it? Is that what they call it? Anyways, I tried to keep it simple and straightforward without focusing on the monetary aspect as I feel it's better to not give people unrealistic expectations like the old "Get paid to post" line on Steemit's signup page back when I made my account almost 4 years ago.
I plan to keep looking for more platforms to ninja-market HIVE on and I will definitely keep doing what I can on Twitter. Ultimately I'd like to see HIVE be more popular than Reddit. I know it's a lofty goal, but I believe we have the potential to do it if we all keep working towards improving onboarding and awareness.
The Medium article was already pretty long, so I don't have much more writing and editing in me today, but I'll keep you guys posted on my future ninja-marketing ventures and hopefully this will encourage others to start their own projects to boost awareness. We are all in this thing together and while everyone would love to see HIVE moon, I want to see hive become the solar system. Much love.
