One look and they're flying, higher than birds.
The air between them is electricity-
Together they're able to defy gravity.
Shedding the unnecessary weight from their minds,
Ascending to orbit as the sunlight blinds,
Force inversely proportional to the space between them-
Maddening methods of mirrored mayhem
Friction and resistance from the things they hide,
Once that's burned away, their worlds collide.
As they become attached, it's time to let go,
But falling is easy, they already know.
