Components
My suggestion is to add a more robust search feature to the busy.org front end of the STEEM blockchain. Content discovery and searching for specific content in general is one of the most difficult aspects of using the STEEM platform. My suggestion is to use existing features in a different way to make searching more intuitive for new users and easier for experienced users as well. If we make the platform more user friendly, we increase the value of the platform for everyone.
Proposal Description
My proposal is to use the existing tag system to search for specific topics and to allow them to be filtered by user. This can be implemented by allowing multi tag searching and user names as a separate class of tag. For instance, if I wanted to see all of the poetry posts written by a specific user, I would access the advanced search feature and then select the user or users that I am wanting to search for and then selecting topic tags that associate to the specific content that I want to see.
Currently when using the search engine on busy.org, if a user types multiple words into the search engine, they are given a list of suggested users followed by posts that may match what they are looking for to some extent. My proposal would allow users to be more specific in which authors and which topic tags they want to filter their search with, but could be modified to help refine things further. These options could be expanded to filter posts created by or mentioning a specific user as well as specific time frames that the post was created.
Mock-ups / Examples
I have created some mock-up images of how the advanced search features could look as well as how the feature could be included into the current layout of the site. Below is an example of adding specific tag filters to a user's page:

Benefits
The benefits of implementing a more robust search feature are based around quality of life improvements for users and curators to find and share specific content.
- Users can refine exactly what they are looking for more easily.
- Users will be able to see what topics other users post under the most.
- Users will have easier access to older posts.
- Less time wasted looking at unrelated posts.
- Ability to search multiple authors for specific topics simultaneously.
