An anomalous weekend for spring temperatures, waiting for the great cold which now seems to be imminent, even if it is very late compared to the roadmap. The sea and the beach are the big attraction for the kids and so we decided to spend some time on the sand.
Although we are not equipped with a shovel and bucket, we have recovered improvised tools such as a plastic cup, a bottle and a container of almonds. All useful tools, or almost so, to dig channels in the sand and raise small towers of the sand castle. The sun warms the air and makes it really pleasant to stay here, while some people I know enjoy the wonderful day like us. The bravest have even decided to dive into the cold sea water, certainly a brave gesture!
All this reminds me a lot of summer, the smell of salt air, the strange sensation of sand between the fingers, and that sweet smell of sunscreen. We played dig a big hole, I love digging in the sand until I find water. There was also a nice big dog that seemed to want to imitate us and quickly dug a hole and then slipped inside! A beautiful German Shepherd named Yuri occasionally came to visit us perhaps looking for food or some sticks to throw.
The sea today is truly splendid, clear, fresh and calm water, a prelude to what will be next summer? In reality, the beautiful sea can be found in May and at the end of September/October. The large summer crowds unfortunately make the water very dirty, the heat heats it up enough to often become broth. That's no good. We should probably find a new place, the old beach where we are now will be stormed and honestly the chaos does not reconcile the tranquility that I desire.
A private or uncrowded place is becoming more and more necessary, in which to play with my son and spend good times with him. Time is passing quickly, he will soon be 3 years old and if I look back for a moment I still see a small baby with a diaper.
