Binance has launched the first Soulbound token on the BNB chain, a non-transferable token that contains all the KYC data, visible in the wallets of users who obviously have presented all the data and documents for recognition. BAB, this is the name of the token, therefore contains all the sensitive information of the customer, a sort of NFT that for obvious reasons of privacy cannot be exchanged between users, in fact it would be equivalent to exchanging their personal data.
Soulbound tokens are defined by some as the decentralized solution of KYC (Know Your Customer) for exchanges, thus obviating the directives of the now increasingly pressing solicitation of government authorities. These tokens, in fact, and therefore all the information contained, would be available to the authorities if there were explicit requests for verification.
For example, imagine that there is a hack to a specific blockchain or Apps, the funds transferred immediately to wallets present in the CEX, the police authorities would immediately obtain the identity data and proceed with the appropriate capital recovery and arrest actions. of the hacker.
Binance, for example, has hinted that the holders of the Soulbound token could also take advantage of some advantages, I think of airdrops or access to some features of Binance or more. The goal is to incentivize customers to carry out recognition procedures in order to allow Binance to be able to operate with more flexibility in markets around the world.
My question is can they steal Soulbound? Binance ensures that the exchange's wallets are safe. But what if someone managed to hack them? All sensitive user data would be in danger.
It will be interesting to observe more developments and news in the coming weeks.

Sarà interessante osservare maggiori sviluppi e news nelle prossime settimane.
