Carnival is now here, the funniest party for all children and beyond. Every weekend there are several parties organized by associations that aim to unite children and create joyful moments of sharing and creativity.
This weekend we took the children to a very fun and well organized event, especially for the location, in the countryside in contact with nature and animals. The sunny day was really ideal for a big colorful party and the kids showed up at the party dressed in really fun masks: princesses, marvel warriors, dragons and unicorns, Disney characters, policemen and much more.
The common factor, however, is the fun and the children started their tour welcomed by the sweetness of the animals present such as rabbits, horses, donkeys, sheep, geese and chickens. Some children have also chosen to ride a horse for a few rides, closely followed by the teachers. A unique way to create a symbiosis between animals and children, a mutual respect that can last over time.
The farm is run by volunteers who take care of the animals every weekend, prepare them for the visit of the children, clean them, take care of their primary needs, and are finally ready to receive the many guests of the structure. In addition to the animals, however, a large play area has been organized in a large space where children can run and play with all the tools made available by the association, assisted by adults dressed in masks and ready to welcome them.
Various activities followed one another: games with large inflatable balls, drawings and coloring of large masks, experiments with bottles and water, storytelling, confetti battle and finally the parade of masks. In fact, the children paraded proud of their disguise, the jury voted for the most beautiful costumes and some won small prizes such as colored paper plates, confetti and soap bubbles.
The happiness of the children was truly irrepressible and even the parents were often involved in activities, such as in the game of ball and canvas, especially because it required a little more strength but the joy on their faces was also evident. A great atmosphere accompanied by a sunny and warm day, the scent of mimosas coming from the nearby trees alternated with the smell of the burnt wood of the olive trees pruned in these days.
The party will also be repeated on the next two Sundays and this beautiful atmosphere of joy and fun will continue. Children's happiness is truly what matters most!
