Rare BBC Deleted Video of MH-17 Eyewitness Statements Related to Disaster on July 14, 2017
This BBC deleted video taken on July 17, 2014, the day of the MH-17 disaster features numerous eyewitnesses stating on camera that they witnessed the presence of a Ukrainian military jet flying in close proximity to MH-17 during the time of the disaster. The official Dutch Safety Board report makes no mention of this. The Ukrainian government that came to power during the violent coup in February 2014 has strongly denied that any Ukrainian military planes were conducting operations on the day of the crash. This statement was made, and left unquestioned, even though they had been conducting military sorties every day prior since the official start of military operations against the breakaway regions in April 2014.
The Dutch Safety Board investigative team has never acknowledged the eyewitnesses, nor taken or included any direct witness statements during the conducting of their investigation. Instead they have chosen to rely on digital forensic evidence supplied by the British firm Bellingcat, run by Elliot Higgins working in collaboration with RUSI (Whitehall/ London) and The Atlantic Council (in Washington, D.C.).
The official DSB investigation has included one of the potential suspects, Ukraine, as a participating investigating Party and has even provided that Party the ability to veto any investigation results that they feel does not 'accurately' match their version of events related to the MH-17 disaster. It is also notable that the DSB carried out their investigation without any Ukrainian radar data, as proven via the Dutch media links below. Thus, one is left to wonder why the Dutch Safety Board has failed to follow proper investigative protocols, and why they continually allow only information from compromised Parties that fit a desired narrative and result.
