Thank you for sharing this discourse, dear lighteye@lighteye - it is much appreciated. So many people fantasise about the royal family and these kinds of rituals, as they're totally brainwashed from childhood into thinking that it's all so meaningful, special and glorious - when the reality is - nevermind the man working 50 hrs a week at Lidl and not able to feed his family: in Scotland things are deeply more unbalanced, as in all countries where colonial powers have raped the land and culture - huge numbers of folks young and old suffer in completely inappropriate housing for the climate, myriad folks die every winter from the cold, and now a great part of the population is removed from the land and living off chemicalised food and medicine instead of the natural power that should be inalienable to them - and keeping them vibrantly health-full.
And still they'll applaud golden things, and blame their poverty on the abstract concept of 'the economy', which they view as an abstract and unfortunate thing 'happening to them' and over which they have zero power. It makes me so angry to see this still happening, but in the meantime, i'm getting on with the Life I was meant to live, in a better climate and outwith the system. I'll maybe move back to Scotland when the crown is finally put in the place it should be.
