Let me analyze the wedding

I've been to several weddings. I've seen pastors and Imams weld a man and a woman together with the word of God just as welders like welding irons together with lead because it creates a strong bond between two irons. Wedding is a good thing. It makes both man and woman feel complete. He who finds a wife has found a good thing. What about she who finds a husband? What did she find? Bible no talk am. Lol

The cost of weddings in this part of the country as of today is enormous. Nigeria has gotten to the level where husband and wife in embryo would have to just do a secret wedding and later show their family members their wedding pictures. On my friends wedding day, he called me that he wanted to run away. It sounded as if they were following him from his village.When I asked him why he felt like absconding, he said the food available cannot serve all the guests. I urged him to continue and see how nice everything would play out. I was his angel on that day. After the wedding, he said the bills nearly drove him crazy

There's a proverb that says cut your coat according to your cloth. I won't do more than myself. Left for me, I don't want an elaborate wedding. Thank God I'm far away from home. Only a few family members would be invited. What about friends? Well, my friends are far from Abuja. Most of them are in Lagos, Ibadan portharcourt and outside the country, so coming over to Abuja would be stressful. I don't want a crowd. Only a few who can make it should come and I will make it clear that I would prefer them to send the money for transport than risking their lives all the way to Abuja for the short but elegant union. The only thing I can be scared of is the number of guests that would be coming from the bride. But we can both plan to control that right

Seriously, I would love to do a strictly by invitation wedding. No IV, don't show up. The number of guests coming would be well planned for. We can just plan for more in case of necessity. Food and drinks would go round, and everything would be planned accordingly

1. The decoration: This can be done in such a way that it won't drain the pause, but still get that quality needed

2. Menu-menu: If people didn't eat, the wedding isn't pure to them. The party jollof rice is always something everyone would love to taste. Different types of swallow with varieties of soup would also beckon to the guests and they would love to reckon with it

3. The party programmes: When interesting things are done, the wedding would be fun. Fun fun fun is what I would love to catch. Yes, it's one time thing, and the fun part should not be left out
