This picture was taken when I was teaching English for the ninth graders in 2013. It was 2.10 p.m in the afternoon. All of my students suggested not to learn in the classroom but outside of the classroom where they could enjoy the breezy wind blew and blew. Spontaneously thinking, I asked them to follow me step by step to the school yard and studied there. It was a bit weird at that time and no one understood why Miss Sity led us here, in the middle of the school yard. Then, I instructed them to make a circle and obviously delivered the learning purpose at that time. "Well, in this forty-five minute, you will not play any sport here, but we'll review yesterday's lesson about favorite things. You'll tell your friends what you like and what you dislike. And take turn to speak when you catch this pink ball".
After listening to that instruction, the students looked nervous at the first time, but lately they enjoyed the game very much. They looked happy in doing such out-class activity and all of them were getting involved in the activity. One more important thing was I could see their happiness when learning. They smiled and laughed freely.
What a nice teaching experience to remember!
