How To Convert Your Pegged Bitshares To Steem

I lost a few cents owing to lack of knowledge about how to convert my pegged BTS to Steem via blocktrades. So I decided making this post so as to give Steemians the idea on how to go about it. At first, I used to think that all I needed to do was go to blocktrades.us get a memo for depositing bitshares, head back to Steem-engine and transfer my pegged BTS to blocktrades with the memo, but it is not done that way. Thanks to @ackza for hinting me on how to go about it. In this post, I am going to explain exactly how you can convert your pegged coins to Steem in less than 10 minutes (Applicable to Steemians).

• Go to Steem-engine wallet
• Click on 'Withdraw'

• Select 'Bitshares' as coin to be withdrawn

• Enter the amount of Pegged Bitshares you wish to withdraw

• Enter your bitshares username

• Click Withdraw BTS to send transaction and make sure to sign the transaction via steemconnect (withdrawal charge applies)

• When you have received the BTSP on your bitshares wallet

• Go to blocktrades.us and sign in

• Enter 'Bitshares' as coin to be deposited

• Make sure 'Steem' is set as coin to be received

• Generate your Bitshares deposit memo

• Go to bitshares wallet, Send the BTS to 'blocktrades' with your generated memo (service charge apply)

• Click on Send and sign the transaction

• You will receive your BTS as Steem in less than no time.
