Yo Splinters,
I hope the Independence Day celebrations is going well with my American friends. The day has been a hectic day for me as I tried to rest a bit for the weekend but lastly couldn鈥檛 get the Me time I was craving. While I was trying to cool off this evening, I got invited by a neighbor to his son鈥檚 birthday so I just had to attend to make the boy鈥檚 day since it鈥檚 his special day. I just had a bottle of beer, presented my gift to the celebrant and got back home after about an hour. When I returned home, I was able to fight some battles in the FRONTIER league where I was able to win about five battles and ended up claiming one set of rewards in the league鈥檚 daily reward. The reward consisted of 3 foundation cards and 2 entries into the weekly FORTUNE draws. I used 3 ALCEMY potions to unveil my rewards but guess today was not my lucky day so couldn鈥檛 unveil a RARE or EPIC card. It feels good that I was able to play the game today all the same. I just had dinner now before making this post so I鈥檓 resting in the sitting room for a bit before heading to sleep. If you ask me, I鈥檒l say the day was successful and I鈥檓 thankful to God. I鈥檓 still hopeful that I might find a LEGENDARY card soon. It鈥檚 been months since I last found one in my set of prizes. I鈥檒l be going back to my normal Splinterlands routine tomorrow which is playing in the MODERN league when I鈥檓 chanced in the early hours of the day and playing in the FRONTIER league later in the day.
So here are the cards which I claimed this evening in the FRONTIER league, they include the DREAD TAFARIAN a MELEE Attack unit card under the EARTH element class which is one of my favorite cards in the game, the HUNGRY ULUND which is a RANGED attack card and belongs to the DRAGON element class and the STURDY AXE WARDEN which is a RANGED attack card too and belongs to the FIRE element category. Among the three cards, I am only fond of using the first and the third card, the second card is not one which I make use of frequently but it is a good one though. Every player has their favorites cards. So they happen to stick to the one that works perfectly for them and that鈥檚 exactly what I do.
