Every time I visit Youtube's, Twitter's, any of 4chan's boards, Reddit's all page, Facebook's, or hell, even Steemit's trending/new/hot pages, I see posts upon posts from normies. I see very few informational or thought-provoking posts on these various pages. It saddens me to see that the populace carries a strong desire for immediate pleasures of the next meme, the newest k-pop star, the newest fetish, the newest harem anime or hentai manga. These immediate pleasures are incredibly fleeting and die within around a week of their conception; nobody cares or remembers them after the fact. Then you get the deep-fried versions of these. Parodies, new captions, "new spins" on everything that even partially resembles the OC. It eventually comes full circle and people write new "Know Your Meme" pages on this now-old stuff
Now you may be asking, what are the characteristics of a normie?
If you managed to read through all of that, congratulations. You probably aren't a normie. But if you just skipped to this section to see if you were a normie... You're probably a normie. Let's see what constitutes a normie...
Now that you know what the fuck a normie is, how about we get into talking about how to NOT be a normie? Surely I wouldn't make such a tempting title then not deliver, right?
Step 1: Stop spending money on non-necessities - When I say non-necessities, I mean things that are not vital to your survival and don't have long-term value. For example, a Bitcoin carries long-term value, so holding onto one of those would be a good idea, but saaay something like a new shirt or pair of jeans when you already have 20 others would be a bad investment. What's the difference? Surely a new shirt would be more functional now, right?
Wrong
Appealing to #5, a normie does not think about the future and spends their money on more vbucks or something useless like that. Unless you're planning on selling your Fortnite account for more than you invested into it, that's a really bad idea. Spend money on things that will have value in the future or on absolute necessities like food, water, mortgage, utilities.
Step 2: Considering that I mentioned mortgage in the previous step, avoid debt at all costs - Unless you calculated a full business plan and are going to start a successful business, do NOT take a loan. Debt weighs heavily on your income, preventing you from saving. Remember #4? Then you may be asking, how do I get a car or a house without a loan? In the modern day, if you're starting off, your parents will probably let you stay at their house until you have enough money to afford your own house. If not, the best choice would be to pick a low-rent house or apartment. If you want to build credit score, take a loan for as much money as you have and pay it back the next day. Sounds easy, right? Some employers may have employee housing. I don't know if that's much of an American thing, though.
Step 3: Your feelings do not matter to the universe - Never use your emotions or feelings to decide anything. They are entirely worthless. Unless you can take advantage of oblivious normies and scam them out of their money, your feelings are your worst enemy. Do NOT confuse your feelings with your intuition. It'll fuck you over real hard.
Step 4: Train yourself to do something productive once a day - It doesn't matter what: learning a new language, programming language, skill, learn or make a new song(if you play an instrument), clean your room(insert varg meme here), clean your house, pretty much anything that is outside of your comfort zone will train and discipline you. Learn proper English, as well.
Step 5: Separate your will from your feelings - Your will should be based on logic and reason. Being borne of your prefrontal cortex, your will is quite literally you. Think of it as the motherboard of a computer, the rest of your brain are the CPU, RAM, GPU, etc. Your feelings could be equated to the GPU, not necessary, but grants access to some pretty great games.

Nobody uses those anymore
I really hope that this is a first step in converting normies out of existence.
I fucking hate normies
