Creo que para cambiar muchas realidades en nuestra sociedad debemos ser coherentes capaces de entender que todos somos diferentes y que necesitamos ser respetados, valorados e incluidos con accesibilidad para poder ejercer nuestros derechos y cumplir nuestros deberes.
I believe that in order to change many realities in our society we must be coherent able to understand that we are all different and that we need to be respected, valued and included with accessibility in order to exercise our rights and fulfill our duties.
El día de ayer la maestra de mi niña sugirió realizar unas actividades sobre el 21 de marzo día mundial del síndrome de Down pero creo que no solo se trata de unirse a un #hashtags sin realmente enseñar sobre ese tema a los niños donde #inclusión debería de ser el #hashtags principal.
Yesterday my child's teacher suggested doing some activities about March 21st World Down Syndrome Day but I think it's not just about joining a #hashtags without really teaching about that topic to kids where #inclusion should be the main #hashtags.
Pienso que la enseñanza sobre este tema debe estar basada en el respeto, empatía e igualdad 👭 yo no tengo síndrome de down, mis hijos tampoco, por eso hoy lo dedicaremos a aprender más sobre esta condición con mi hija de 6 años porque como maestra y mamá se que el conocimiento rompe con los prejuicios y el aprendizaje sobre los otros nos ayuda a empatizar.
I think that teaching about this topic should be based on respect, empathy and equality 👭 I don't have down syndrome, neither do my children, that's why today we will dedicate it to learn more about this condition with my 6 year old daughter because as a teacher and mom I know that knowledge breaks down prejudices and learning about others helps us to empathize.
