"Hybrid Western Cinema"
We have been discussing the western cinema for a while now and we would be soon wrapping up the western genre discussions. But before that we would still discuss one or two more sub-genres. One of them is Hybrid Western, which is our topic of discussion today.
This genre is a combination of the western genre and another genre type such as horror, film noir, martial arts or the road movie. The film retains the conventions of the western like horses, six-guns, cowboys, Indians, etc. .
