I can’t imagine myself winning $1 million; it will be a dream come true. The majority of people will go for a luxurious lifestyle, spending the money on expensive cars, shopping, and so on. To be honest, there is nothing wrong with spending a little of the money; a million dollars is capable of changing someone's life if the person has proper planning. I will not lie; seeing a one-million-dollar drop in my account will be the best day of my life. I will be so excited. Here comes the main thing: I will focus and make decisions that I will benefit from for a long period of time rather than spending the money to support a soft life.
Even before the $1 million drop in my account, I had a lot of things on my mind, but what was holding me was capital, to be honest. Having such a sum in my account, I would be tempted to spend the money, but the best thing I can do at the moment is avoid making sudden purchases. According to history, many people who win the lottery end up losing the money because they spend too quickly. When it comes to me, I will take my time and make a decision because if I make the wrong decision, it will affect me in the future.
It has always been my desire and wish to have my own fashion house. Since I was a child, I have always had a passion for fashion. Winning this huge amount of money will really mean a lot to me; it will be a dream come true for me. It is not just a fashion house but also a beauty home. With that amount of money, my fashion house will be one of the best in town; it will be well equipped. There is this inner joy that I will have when people wear my brand. I am not only after making money; I am also going to train people who have passion for fashion.
Next is my family; I will make sure that my family is secure because they are the foundation of my life, and setting them up is one of my priorities. If my family is okay, my mind will be at peace. With the money, I will make sure they live a comfortable life; they don’t have to stress themselves to get anything they want.
Education is the next place I will invest my money. Knowledge is power; with knowledge, it will help me generate value for a lifetime. Learning never ends. I will use part of the money for new skills because the world is becoming digital and I need to top up. One thing about me is I am not selfish; I will help people I can extend hands to. I give people scholarships and help the old and the sick. People are really suffering, even if it means giving a small percentage of $1 million will really make a difference in the lives of people, just like some groups in the #hiveghana community are doing some community projects. I will also do that for my community. The money is not just only for me; I should be able to change lives with the money.
After I have planned my future, the remaining money should be for my personal enjoyment. Building my finances does not mean I should never enjoy the rewards of my success. There are places in my mind I have always longed to travel to, explore different things and food, and create memories that I will not forget. The best thing is to balance it, enjoying life while still planning for the future.
Lastly, I will never stop pursuing my ambition and goals. Winning $1 million will not stop me from working, nor will it make me abandon my dreams. Money can provide opportunities and freedom. For me, winning $1 million tomorrow is not all about creating riches; it will be an opportunity to create stability and build myself. It all depends on how wisely we spend the money.
