When it comes to hives, there is a lot of benefit in hives. Most times I find it very difficult to explain to people who have never experienced hives. I joined the hive because I was so curious; I needed to know how the blockchain works, how cryptocurrency works, and how blogging works. Others join because they are looking for where they will share their ideas. But after I was onboarded, I got to realize that there is more to the platform than just earning and making posts.
I keep asking myself, why do people keep coming to Hive? One of the reasons is the community in Hive. Hive is a platform that is filled with people from different backgrounds, countries, and cultures. There is a sense of belonging in a hive; you can post about your personal life, and you will see another person from a different country that totally understands your experience, which probably helps to add value to your life. I have been able to connect with people from my comment, and from there we have a chat conversation. It can be someone who you have long to read their post.
Hive is one place people can connect; Hive gives it user freedom to create. Hive is one platform that gives its users the space to express themselves. Whatever you enjoy doing, you will surely see it in Hive. Whether you enjoy photography, gaming, cooking, or writing, there is room for every voice. I keep telling people that every voice is important on the platform. There is nothing that I enjoy more than writing; there is this inner joy whenever I share my ideas through posts, and I see people visiting my posts and commenting. I am just happy that I have a place where I share ideas and also learn from other people.
The reward part keeps attracting people to the platform; knowing full well that your engagement and participation will earn you a reward makes the platform interesting. I learned from my mentor that many times chasing reward alone can be frustrating because at those times you can create something you are proud of, and it will not earn you enough reward, and then a post you didn’t expect anything from gets the attention.
I focus more on creating meaningful content that will enlighten people and building strong relationships. I zero in on my mind about the earnings and focus more on exploring the blockchain because there is a whole lot to learn.
Hive is one platform I always see myself coming back to. You can never be tired of Hive because there is a lot to learn and discover. Hive gives the user full ownership. Hive is so wide you can learn about Hive power, cryptocurrency, content creation, and so on. The honest truth is the more time you spend with people that are so good in any of the subjects, the more curious we will be. Currently now there is this friend I met two weeks ago, and he is enlightening me on cryptocurrency. I am as curious currently as a cat right now.
One thing about me, I believe, is that you can learn anywhere, and Hive is that place. There is no single day I don’t learn new things from the blockchain. I appreciate everything about the platform. I am so happy that I am part of this great platform.
I have developed this habit no matter how busy I may be. I try my best to read at least one post in a day and engage in one or two posts. From there, I will be motivated to write my own post; it has become my daily routine. Once a thing becomes your routine, it is very powerful. The truth is Hive is not perfect, and I don't think there is any community that is perfect. I must get discouraged when I see my earnings, but I still see myself picking up and keeping going. For every community to function well, it all depends on the people in the community and how they contribute towards the growth. The experience can be valuable if only we support and engage.
