1/🧵When you take a drug for an extended period of time, your body becomes tolerant to it, and thus, it becomes ineffective against whatever you were using it to treat. The same can also be said for some illnesses that now resist simple treatments. What are your thoughts on this dark side of evolution? Have you ever taken a drug that ended up being useless in combating your illness? What hope does humanity have if every illness continues to evolve like this?
