2/🧵The first thing I will do is to understand the environment first so that I will know where I will come in from. I need to understand the people, communicate with them, and most importantly, how their economy works. If there is something I am so good at, it is adopting quickly. The good news is that skills are portable; money can come and go, but knowledge and the ability to solve problems remain with you. Skills like teaching, designing, developing, writing, and so on I can easily exchange for shelter, food, and money even in a strange land. Skills are important because they can help develop the land and also solve problems.
