2/🧵Most times the only way we learn is by learning the hard way, more especially we youth. We don’t listen to advice, and at the end we will be full of regret. The word I told you so can be heartbreaking, more especially when it is coming from judgement; it will really be hard for such a person to move on because their emotions and feelings are hurt. For most people the word is harmless, while to others it can depress them.I have been in this situation, and I fully understand how painful it can be to tell someone, I told you so. Instead of us blaming the person, all they need is someone who will understand and support them.
