2/🧵Physical punishment is not the only way to discipline a child. I can remember back then when I was still a child; it was not all the time my mom flogged me. Sometimes I would be the one to do all the house chores in the house while my siblings relaxed without doing anything. After the punishment, she would sit me down and give me advice; with that, I would correct myself. I always tell parents that fear will only bring a temporary obedient child; a child can stop a behaviour because he doesn't want to be punished, not that the understand but he is doing that. Thathe understands, is why it is important to correct these kids with love and care.
