Thirteen Fruits

Good evening steeminians!
I would like to share with you this little knowledge about Pilipinos tradition every new year. Thirteen round fruits is one of common tradition every new year. There is a rule in doing it. Do not eat that fruits before new year comes. And that thirteen fruits should last in 13 days. You can eat one by one as long as their still fruit after 13 days. And that is my mother’s belief in that tradition. How about yours? Whats your tradition in new year?
I remember before when I was a kid, it kinda exciting every new year’s eve. Because I’m so excited to eat the fruits and thats one of my favorite part of new year’s eve. How about yours?
